Course Overview

The Arabic Intensive & Higher Islamic Education course is a three-year course in which students study the fundamentals of the Arabic language and higher Islamic education using Arabic texts.

This course is ideal for anyone who has completed their primary Islamic education (maktab) and intends to further their studies alongside work or secular education.

Classes run in the evening, Monday to Friday, with two different timing options: 5:00pm - 7:10pm or 6:00pm - 8:10pm (times change slightly throughout the year to accommodate salah times).

The academic year runs in line with the UK (Leicester) school calendar, beginning in the last week of August until July. Holidays are every six weeks for mid-term, winter, Easter and summer. There are no classes in Ramadhan.

The new academic year begins on Tuesday 31st August, 2021.


The fees for this course are £700 a year.

£150 is due upon admission and the remainder is payable over 10 instalments of £55.
