Information for Teachers and Students

Goals

Read the text fluently without tashkeel.
Translate the text.
Explain the grammatical structure of complex sentences only (Do Tarkib).
Students should listen to the audio books of the story to help with reading fluency.

Teaching Methodology

Students will use the non-tashkeel version of the book.

Students will be required to read accurately and fluently, translate the text, and analyse the tarkīb of difficult sentences only.

Teachers will not give any additional exercises or practice.

Note

As students become more familiar with the book, the teacher will gradually decrease Sarf, Nahw and Tarkib analysis, and focus more on fluency in reading and translating.
