First Steps to Understanding Arabic

Each rule is introduced with a single example and grammatical analysis, allowing students to gain a broad understanding of the core concepts without becoming overwhelmed by excessive detail.
The aim is to equip students with the fundamental tools required to begin studying Arabic texts.

al-Wusṭā revisits those same fundamentals strengthening understanding.
al-Kubrā presents a comprehensive study of the science, bringing together the principles learnt in the earlier books with greater depth and detail, and preparing students for the study of classical Arabic texts, particularly the Qur'an, tafsīr and the Islamic sciences.
