Teaching Methodology

Kitab at-Taharah

The primary purpose of this section is to familiarise students with the text. Therefore, it will be taught similar to a literature text: students will have to read the text, translate, do tarkib of difficult and new structures, and explain the meaning. Thereafter, the teacher will add necessary explanations.

Remainder of the Book

The teacher will summarise the rulings and explain the translation and meaning of the text. Thereafter, the rulings will be applied to real-life scenarios. 

Students will be expected to ensure they are aware of the translation and tarkib on their own. 

Students will be expected to ensure they take ownership of their revision and recap. The teacher will not be doing a daily collective recap.
